ABOUT US
LIM started working in India in 1998. LIM’s roots are in the local church and LIM continues to partner many churches in the UK and overseas.
Our aim is to help the local church initiate life-changing projects and to take responsibility for the poor, disadvantaged and vulnerable in society. LIM has overseen several key building projects in India. These include a 150 place residential Bible College and the Roshini Nilaya Children's Home, both of which are located in Erode, South India. Roshini Nilaya Children's Home currently cares for over 60 children (boys and girls).
El Shaddai
We continue to sponsor our sister charity in Goa, India who look after over 1,000 children! Our sponsors are currently helping to sponsor 50 children from El Shaddai Ministries to provide food, educational and living costs.
Manipur Relief
In 2023, we raised £6,000 through your generous donations towards the Manipur Relief Project. This project was set up by our sister charity, Healing Train Foundation, who provide relief to those living in poverty and facing direct persecution in Manipur for their faith in Jesus. Thank-you for your support!
BUILD A CHURCH SCHEME
We have built over 100 BACS church in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands (Indian Union Territory)! What a massive milestone for LIM! Over the last 20 years, the Lord has enabled us to build just over 100 churches through our BACS Project. Other locations recently built: Gujarat, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu.

ROSHNI NILAYA:
LIM is proud to introduce Roshni Nilaya! Over the past few years, our outreach programme in Tamil Nadu has provided care, support, and opportunities to more than 800 children through the following initiatives:
Children’s Home
We provide a safe and nurturing home for children who have no secure place to live.
Education
We support children’s education by covering school fees, uniforms, equipment, transportation, and other essential learning needs.
Community Care
Through our community hubs, we provide food, clothing, medical assistance, and practical life-skills training to children and families in need.
Family Care
We offer financial support to single parents and families facing disability or poverty, helping them meet the basic needs of their children and remain together as a family.
Today, we have the privilege of loving, caring for, and supporting more than 60 children in our home. This ministry is sustained through the generous donations and monthly sponsorships of many faithful supporters.
Samuel and Sophia are the house parents. Their dedication and care have already made a wonderful impact, and it is clear that the children are thriving, happy, and growing in confidence within a more structured and supportive environment.
SCHOOL WHEELS PROJECT
TAMIL NADU, SOUTH INDIA
We are helping approximately 150 children attend school for the very first time in their lives. Many of these children come from extremely poor communities in tribal districts and remote villages, where access to education is limited and families cannot afford school-related costs. In many cases, children also lack the necessary documentation required for enrolment.
To overcome these barriers, our dedicated staff and volunteers operate school buses that collect the children from their communities and transport them safely to and from school each day. This vital service makes education accessible to children who would otherwise have little or no opportunity to attend.
What makes this ministry even more remarkable is the commitment of our teachers, who personally contribute towards the transport costs. In fact, approximately half of the fuel expenses are paid for by the teachers themselves, reflecting their extraordinary dedication to the children and their future.
